With the wine’s ever-present deep ruby-red colour and violet rim, the aromas are intense, reminiscent of ripe red and black berries such as dried plum, blackberries in syrup, and cassis. There are deeper notes of toast and spice, such as black pepper, clove, and nutmeg. The palate is balanced, with very smooth but voluminous tannins. The sensations of ripe fruit and sweet spices grow, lingering for a long time and showing the strong character very typical of the Marchigüe terroir.
